Dr. Martell has served as our Acting Chief Medical Officer since February 2020, and was previously our Vice President, Clinical Development since April 2018. From October 2017 to April 2018, Dr. Martell worked as an independent consultant to Kura as founder and managing director of BAM Consultants, LLC, a privately-held clinical development and medical affairs consultative services firm. From June 2015 to September 2017, she served as Senior Vice President, New Product Development at Juniper Pharmaceuticals, a publicly-held specialty pharmaceuticals company.
