Prior to joining Covey Park, Mr. Wilson was an independent consultant in the E&P sector, working with clients on IPO readiness and accounting efficiencies. Over the course of his career, Mr. Wilson has held progressive roles of responsibility in both private and public E&P companies, including Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Petro Harvester Oil & Gas LLC between 2013 and 2015 and EXCO Resources, Inc. from 2005 through 2013. Mr. Wilson also served as Chief Financial officer of Epoch Investment Partners, a registered investment adviser from 2000 through 2005. Mr. Wilson earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Eastern New Mexico University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and serves on the Board of Directors of Professional Development Institute, a not-for-profit affiliate of the University of North Texas.
